In short, supply chain involves all activities required by an organization to deliver a finished good or service to the final consumer,

It makes sure that converting raw materials or a product's components to a finished product or service, is made within the most efficient way, at the lowest cost, and while meeting if not surpassing the consumer's expectations.

It might be true for some cases but it depends on hoe relevant the supply is in order to sustain
