Is it true that the Traditional Marketing is going to death after introducing the new windows like Virtual,Digital and Multimedia Marketing?

I do not think that traditional marketing will die or end up .. But there are other methods of modern and new maybe you will get a bigger share of the market

Newer media avenues and marketing possibilities may garner more attention due to their recency or convenience, and the benefits they offer. The spends on these newer media might increase, while a slight reduction on traditional marketing spends is possible. Companies need to recognize this fact and plan their spends wisely.

However, Traditional Marketing can not die out owing to the reach and specialist method of communication that can only be done through traditional marketing mediums. Everyone does some sort of traditional marketing. By killing off your own traditional marketing spends and allowing this audience to go will only mean that a company is not marketing where competitors still exist.

To summarize, traditional marketing might take a small reduction in spends, but it is very important and will be very much alive as it is also evolving in its means.

The new media metrics like Virtual,Digital and Multimedia assist the traditional avenues of marketing towards the goal of more sales or bigger market share or more revenue whatever the goal may be.

·         In the integrated marketing communication (IMC) concept  all players in the media mix both old and new have their role to play.

·         The media mix has press , TV, outdoor , cinema along with new entrants like virtual ads on the internet , digital ads and the multimedia. They are all linked.

·         For example a tech savvy customer can SCAN THE AD IN THE NEWSPAPER(many ads do give this fascility) with a SMARTPHONE  for more digital information. This is an example of old new cooperation. Also can log on to the company website immediately for more information.

·         Also an outdoor sales rep can use digital tools and multimedia in direct selling.
