I don’t think it’s necessary to have a BA or an MA in journalism to work in a news channel. You can work as an editor,translator, writer, researcher and other jobs available in news channels.If you have the skills and the enthusiasm and If you showcase your communication and presentation abilities in addition to your empathy with the audience you can become a reporter or an anchor after a period of training.
Don't limit your search according to your education certificate. Apply for the position that you fell is the right for you.
