Hi Mahmoud

Preparing yourself in advance for the news job interview is the key to success. Interviewers will ask you questions about the current events in the world so you will be expected to know the latest information about your industry.Try to give your interviewers more than a “yes” or “no” response and wait for the interviewers to ask more questions to prove your ability to create comprehensive long sentences and try not to speed your speech when you’re nervous or excited.

If you are applying for a writing position, you may be given some copy and asked to rewrite it into an article. When given this task, the interviewers want to know your ability to recite and write comprehensive and clear sentences.

When applying for a reporter or anchor position you may also be asked to perform on-air to test your interviewing skills.
