To be honest, I think it depends on the area, the needs of the area, and the resources available.  I think there are some fine, and badly under-used "green" energy alternatives out there.  Several months back, I was stationed on the US west coast.  I could not help but wonder about the tremendous untapped "wave energy", ( ocean ), potential, not to mention the wind farms that I am seeing lately.  No matter who you are, or where you live in this world, I think we all need to strongly consider and promote local clean energy alternatives.  Just my thoughts =]  Salaam / Peace to all <3
