What channel do you prefer to market your products: Facebook or Instagram? Why?

In lebanon 100% instagram to market our product because its more useful and practical.

FB trumps over Insta anytime. It has

1) Great reach

I will prefer both Facebook and Instagram.Both Facebook and Instagram play important role in social media marketing. Nowadays the user attraction towards Instagram is high rather than facebook. Instagram revealed that they’ve reached an astounding 700 million Instagrammers, 400 million+ of which are daily active users. Instagram became more popular in adults and as well as businessmen. It is seen that Instagram bring more engaged traffic. If we talk about Facebook, every person liked to use Facebook and spend spare time on Facebook.

In Facebook * Facebook has a million searches on a daily basis which can be beneficial for marketers. * By using Facebook ads you can target required areas, genders, ages, interests and can exclude specific people too.

You need to follow the goal and right direction of marketing. Which type of business you started and how you are advertising your business, either you made Facebook page or group. How many people like your page or join the group. This is the complete & right marketing strategy you have to make. Determine your Facebook ad strategy.In Instagram Statistics showed that Instagram is one of the best marketing tools. Instagram is the visual and more beneficial marketing. You can make your product video and can upload on Instagram.*Engagement rate of Instagram is high

Both have its advantages & disadvantages as follows

  1. On Facebook you can upload multiple photos (wihout getting it cut), long videos, polls, links and also any types of photos Eg, panaroma, 3D, GIF etc which you cant do on Instagram
  2. Instagram gives a great engagement on every post, even though lately the reach has been reduced. 
  3. Biggest advantage of FB is that users can click on the link shared, which business brands can use to drive traffic. Though Instagram also have link option not for regular profiles. You need to have a business account for it. 
  4. On FB you can share one post multiple times in different pages or groups. Instagram lacks it. 

So I would prefer a mix of both to reach the right audience.

I prefer Instagram to Facebook. Facebook has better reach, but more clutter. Depending on who is your target audience is, I personally find Instagram has more impact. The content also has to be top-notch, with videos and professionally taken images and optimization.

Many people around the globe are using this channel.Facebook users in my audience target are much higher than in any other channel.Not that I dont use others..I have twitter,Linkedln and telegram but the audience involvement rate is getting higher in that page than any other platform.As much as I want to reach out to my target,I also want any other person out there to see what Im doing and thus can even refer a terget to me

Actually it depends:

if you are - in your marketing plan -  focusing on information more than picturs and videos and more wider so its facebook.

if you are - in your marketing plan -  focusing on picturs and videos and more visual more than information so its instagram.

It seems an easy question but it is complicated.

First you need to find your proper segment in every area.

Then you need to find out the habits of the people in the segment of every region.

Upon their habits you need to choose the right medium.

In some countries the people in the chosen segment might not use their instagram and facebook accounts. However in some countries one or both of the media you have picked are banned. In some especial cases the targeted people in the span do not even watch TV, they may only listen to the radio or read papers or only have a glance at the billboards on their ways!

So now you agree with me that "it is hard to decide" about the right medium for advertising!

There is no better channel than the other honestly depends on your demographics, I find it easier to target by age group of youngsters on instagram where as on Facebook the older between 30-60
