What in-text citation would I use if I have already used the author’s name to introduce a quote?

In text citation need last name of the author and page number to refer the quote. example can be ( shahwar 8). Even if authors name is repeated still the intext citation tells abouit the page number of the book .

(last name, date, page numbers) in parentheses if the citation is at the end. Last name (date) at the start of the sentence, while (page number) at the end. APA style.

If you introduce the cited material with a signal phrase (including the author’s last name within the sentence),  omit the surname from the parentheses.

Example: John demonstrates this psychological phenomenon (-).
