In our fast-moving world technologies have made accounting practice an easier job and because of using specialized software's like Oracle for example we have noticeably increased the accuracy of financial reports.

Another important aspect of how technology affected accounting is that it gave accountant a bigger role inside the organization instead of primarily focusing on tasks like VAT or statistical services that now accounting software can easily perform to tasks like giving financial advice, developing new processes to increase efficiency and lower costs that we can't trust the machines to do.

Because of technology the role of accountant is changing to business or Financial advisor which means accountant have to be more familiar with IT and skills like critical thinking and skeptics is highly important in the current accounting profession

Now accountants can work with their clients from anywhere in the world thanks to the internet and technologies like cloud computing and mobile accounting which will increase efficiency and provides more time for accountant to engage with their clients.

In summary its necessary for accountant to stay updated with regards to the new technologies if they want to stay relevant as the industry is changing rapidly and it also important for accountant to adapt to new accounting software's and able to learn in order to advance in their career and meet the company requirements
