Because HTML5 is the better technology.

Because to run a flash site it requires to have a flashplayer plugin on the client side which puts the visitors  computer in jeopardy due to the players vulneraility to hackers and viruses. Visitors are hasitant to land on such sites which takes a long time to load and navigate and surf its we pages.

Flash came into existence because of the need of audio and video playback on the internet. The ability to play audio and video directly using HTML5 replaces the need of flash because HTML5 standards have been implemented across all modern web browsers. HTML5 works in a better way than Flash in all the aspects. Not only that, Flash vulnerabilities and zero-day exploits were so bad that it has to go. Exploits such as taking control of the computer were possible with Flash.

For some reasons like :

  • Security Problem
  • Slow pages
  • Crashing
  • Excessive battery consumption
  • And an alternative to it is HTML5
