Hi Reem Boudraa.
How're you? Green building has a positive globally impact.
It reduces negative environmental ween air pollution, water pollution and the ever decreasing capacity in our landfills, traditional building materials, their byproducts and human lifestyles are creating an unhealthy environment.
There are so many articles and e-books concerning this issue.
As the UN adopts this school of architecture, many courses are held in many parts of the world to encourage architects and engineers to become a part of this phenomenon, then to register with the UN as a green building engineer.
The green building has specific design requirements and special details, with specific codes and materials, for example windows have to be double glazed with special sections and details, so the openings become less sunlight penetration, and as a result less air conditioning use..
and so on, therefore it's still considered an expensive architecture, but more useful and less natural resources consumer on the long term.
