DC Series motor has high starting torque. We can not start the Induction motor and Synchronous motors on load, but can not start the DC series motor without load.
DC is high in statring toruqe it always used in Wenches and high torque machines induction motor also has high torque (less than DC) but the problem is it also has high starting current for that we use STAR-DELTA CONNECTION or SOFT STARTAR
