If the manager has a good social character with everyone around him, especially the staff and the assistant, he will fail miserably, and this is because the manager has the planning, direction and supervision, but the implementation will be on the team, if there is no good relationship between him and the team will not be accomplished What is required is therefore the first to be blamed for being the default manager by senior management, and in the end who'll be the biggest loser is the department manager.

1. Get in learning mode 

2. Be transparent about your motivation 

3. Open door policy about the goal  discussion and problems 

4. Praise in Public , correct in private .

5. What to do , not how to do it .

Not important is love as much as the most important is the ability to achieve cooperation to achieve the goal .. If the condition of existence of the love then we will find such failed to many goals

A Manager or leader earns the love of his assistants everyday because through a unique flow in happy communication the Proficency in task builds to its peak and the productivity grows because there is love without ordering. 

A demand is created naturally and the admiration grows among the staff for his or her manager or leader as he cares for his staff with his heart and soul. 

Anything can be done to a very high level when this happens and the company is at its highest peak of success as the flow of work is good amongst the staff, in all levels and task with time frames are reached because of the interest involved amongst the staff too.

He need not be loving you. But, he should have the confidence that his concerns and thoughts expressed to you will be taken with due respect. You should be a mentor and not a boss/manager. Once you become a good mentor, you can get the works done easy with more dedication and perfection.

To conclude, we should make your assistance to love the job and not the company. Once you train him to love the job, automatically you will get best result.
