A careful leader always enhance or promote a positive attitude amongst subordinates. He would have consider all different aspects of supervision not only one side and should be ready explaining if resistance occur.  By then subordinates will also respect him and abide with enthusiasm. Like a saying in the management a task nicely started is already half finish. An organized leader always careful in everything.

yes I agree, the manager or leader careful supervision engourages, motivates and empowers the initiative of the subordinates. 

The manager or leader is watched every step of the way in the organisation and they play a role of accountability which helps subordinates courage and confidence grow when supervised efficiently. 

The feedback they receive when the task is delivered depends on the alertness given to details and to attention for the time frames encouraging them to perform with quality of work in a shorter span of time due to knowledge and skill overseen by the manager or leaders. 

Subordinatew are trained better in every way with supervision.  Goals are met with success and success paves the way for the organisation to build a better relationship between employer and employee and the manager or leader total quality management skills play a role in this success.

Micromanagement of employees has caused alot of companies some real good talents. People like to be incharge of their instincts and follow them. 'Over supervision' or 'Careful supervision' most times puts these so called subordinates the fear of not exploring their inborn talents - especially when you give them the feeling that they are subordinates and their opinion don't matter.

So no! the careful supervision doesn't encourage the initiative of subordinates. It kills it rather. Just allow them to work freely and correct them when necessary

the degree of supervision comes in different phases to a subordinate path for development or the learning curve. it could be up close from the start and as long as you are both guided by a common objective drawn from your balance scorecards.
