To measure the sucess of the front end/UI developer, you measure the functioality of the features that they designed and developed, if they meet the requirement document description, and you can also conduct a usability study, where you bring in a User who would be most likely be using the website, and get his opinion and feedback, or through A/B Testing, which is conducted by Quality Software Engineers and Team members who are familiar with the website scope in terms of features and functionalities, and what the website will have to deliver. Keep in mind that the most important person is the User (Not the Business who is hiring you for the website development) The website user will be using the website to browse and do any action he would want to do, make sure his/her needs are covered. and you can only do it through a Usability Study
