Difference between Store keeper and Store Manager?

Store keeper handling stock inventory ie goods received, issued, identified, and prepare reports whereas Store manager managed overall stock position, controlled on inventory, follow SOPs and handling etc

A person who takes care of in and out of Stock with proper accounting is called Store Keeper.

A person who takes care of entire store operations like Stock In & Out, Staff Management, Customer Retention, Business Improvement is called Store Manager. 

1. A storekeeper is the person who is responsible for stored goods of a retail store. A storekeeper reports to a store manager. A storekeeper is under the instructions of store manager. 
2. He is responsible for the safety of stored good.

 

Store Manager: (More Responsibilities)

 

1. A retail or store manager is the person ultimately responsible for the day-to-day operations of a retail store. A store manager reports to a district/area or general manager.
2. He is responsible for the safety of all customers and employees on store premises.
3. A store manager has over-all responsibility for all day-to-day activity of the store. Managing & controlling staff. 
4. The store manager is responsible for hiring, training of employees. 
5. Store managers also have the fire powers to any under-performing or misbehaving employees. 
6. Store manager try to solve any problem that may occur in store at any given time.

 

Store Keeper: (Few Responsibilities)
