Given the increasing demand for e-shopping, Google is helping consumers find good products in several ways and enabling them to shop safely online without having to control web content. Most online transactions are done without any problems, but some of them are risky, so we've set up this page with some useful tips and tools to help you shop online.Safety tips    Do not believe imaginary shows :. We recommend that you compare the price shown with the prices of similar products sold elsewhere. If you find a significant difference in price, be sure to search for the seller and inquire about the product status. If the site offers huge discounts and contains language and spelling errors and uses low quality images from the original brand site, the site is likely to sell counterfeit products. Be careful because some sites that sell counterfeit products are careful to be similar to original brand sites in terms of design, use similar images, or use a domain name that contains a brand name.    Look for the identity of unknown sellers: If you have never been shopping from an online store, first check the legitimacy of this store. For example, check out the store's business history and conduct an online search for comments and reviews from customers who have already dealt with this store. Legitimate merchants usually provide their contact information, such as store address, phone number, or email address, to be able to communicate with them to inquire about an order or resolve a transaction issue. Many sites that sell counterfeit products contain valid official URLs that may include phrases like onsale.com [brand name] or .com [trademark]. You can check the WhoIs record of the site to see the domain owner.    Using a payment method that protects the buyer: In many cases, credit card companies limit your responsibility when making purchases online to avoid fraud. Some online payment systems do not share your full credit card number with sellers to ensure you get better protection.    Read small text: Before buying, we recommend that you review the seller's shipping, warranty and recovery policy as some stores offer full refunds, while some stores charge additional fees to return products and only replace them with a store purchase balance.    Keep transaction details in your records: You can keep a digital or paper copy of large transactions for reference when needed if you want to return a product or prove unauthorized charges from your account.    Avoid hacked websites and monitor your browser's address bar: If you click a link and have been redirected to another site on time, this site may be hacked and contain malware. Malware, such as viruses, worms, and trojans, can install unwanted software on your computer without your knowledge. Some hacked sites do not automatically redirect you to a different page, but may include irrelevant or unwanted content on the page. We recommend that you monitor the address bar to make sure that the link you click on is the link you are directed to, thus avoiding any risks.    Write sensitive web addresses in the address bar: Avoid going to sensitive accounts by clicking on a link or copying and pasting the address. It's a good idea to type the web address yourself and make sure you enter the correct address because some sites benefit from site-specific spelling errors that look exactly like the original sites. This is mainly intended to phishing your account information.    Avoid entering personal information in suspicious sites: If the site requests personal information not related to the information required to purchase a product or obtain a service (such as bank account information or answers to security questions or passwords), we recommend that you be careful because this type of query may Be an attempt to steal your personal information. Some sites are a replica of the official website, including logos and text, but are specifically designed to obtain your personal information. Here are some tips for avoiding and reporting phishing sites.    Make sure you create strong passwords: Avoid using the same passwords in multiple accounts and do not forget to change them from time to time, especially when you suspect your account is being compromised. Here are more tips on how to choose a smart password.    Only send information using secure connections: When you transfer sensitive information such as your credit card or bank account number, we recommend that you first check for https: // in the address bar (as well as the lock icon in the address bar if you're using Google Chrome or Internet Explorer). When accessing your financial accounts, make sure that the website has an extended certificate of credit - the URL or website name must appear green in the URL bar in many modern browsers, meaning that the organization that manages the website .    Avoid financial transactions on public computers: You should avoid logging into accounts with sensitive financial information (such as bank accounts, credit cards, or business websites) using public or shared computers. If you enter this type of information on a shared or common computer, it is important to log out always and close the browser window after completion.    Check the gravel
