That's true, getting a home automation system with all the necessary detectors can be way easier. Personally I decided to get a system from Ajax Systems a few years ago, and I can tell you that it still works flawlessly, so I regret nothing. But if you're determined that you want to do everything yourself with your own detectors, you need to connect your access control integration module with your fire alarm integration one.
You can use relay module of your alarm system. But I think it would be easier to just get a full security system with home automation.
The access control integration module and fire/security alarm integration module allow connecting to add fire relay control.
