Hi, Reem.
I would say the biggest difficulty facing athletes from the Arab world would be the often-volatile political situation in the region.
Athletes from the West typically are largely free to focus on their sport without worry of an unforeseen political incident that could instantly jeopardize their alives, let alone disrupt their daily training.
It's that same political uncertainty that plays a key role in the poverty in the region and often discourages key investments in athletes from sports shoe and apparel giants like Nike.
It's for these reasons that athletes from the Arab world are almost always at a huge competitive disadvantage.
Hope that helps and good luck!

I agree a little with John, but please let me tell you that in every background there are lots of talented people. Only perseverance and motivation will determine who will be the great one. Keep participating in any sports and unite to grow. This is how politics change in longer term.
