i personally cannot choose this as a leader does not necessarily have to be a manager and could be well below the level of a manager.  he ccould be a supervisor or a team leader or even below.

Manager is a just a function and Leadership is a trait, a quality using which, a manager or anyone, manages his or her people and resources.

Leadership mostly as i know, comes naturally.  You can spot one if you are walking around the floor.  work, method, demeanour, will be different.  the way he or she is treated by  peers or colleagues will be different.

So, for me its not a choice
