Because the planning and monitor the plan metigate or eliminate the bad risk.

I agree with Ahmad, there are people who get lucky in projects without detailed planning, and it eventually succeeds, but those who are known to be iconic projects are those who are properly thought of and planned for.

yes, good management practices at that happens to deliver the project very well at the end of the day in terms of project and business objectives. but take note that as we along the way, risk management is very important as it shapes the project team very well to do good, in anticipating, maintaining and eliminating risk or hazards of the project - as these are the challenges that we are facing of as we go along the way. At one face, i said earlier, these happen to improve and develop the Team as well as the stakeholder to do well and very good in completing the project. Since, everything is writtend and recorded it the risk register, the actions there will serve as a reference to other project or future project for that matter - that will help the Team for future enedeavor.

Because if you do not drive a project using good project management, it would turn out to be a hazard.

Best project is not driven by best management but by best processes and a culture within the organisation to  follow the rigours of project management, quality, risk and time are some of key components of project management and these are best achieved with the support and sponsorship of management.

hazard? there are no hazards in professional management, only risks. hazards happen when someone slips in a carpet, or drops coffee on smeonelse. In professional project management, actions take in consideration the risks in the strategy to be pursuied. An urricane a sand storm are considered natural hazards that cannot be predicted with accuracy, but have a probability of happening, so  better to check if the project is really worthy and the payback will happen in due time, before starting.
