A daunting but nevertheless fulfilling task faced by Logistics & Supply Chain Managers (there happens to be a difference between both, by the way) is to reduce the landed cost for each unit of each line item ordered, manage customs clearance issue, deal with the woes of each Procurement Unit or a Value Buying Designate.
But what would be the ideal daily task cycle for a Logistician (Mind you) in Saudi Arabia for the IT and Communications Technology Sect?
Saudi Arabia is still a fresh country in relation to the logistics infrastrucrue and not so many companies that uses ERP and logistics system. In IT; if there are logistical solutions they are not well equipped with handling such sensetive materials especially storage devices.
More needs to be worked on this manner to achieve a better logistical infrastructure.
