What are teaching experiences with those students in university those who cannot communicate with you their own language?

I had been teaching in Ethiopia in Samara University.It's was wonderful experience and tried to make them understand with different way of understanding, like pictures and videos and to discuss the topic their own colleagues were helping them to make the topic easy to understand
