What the type of cable joint (MV) that should be used in Hazardous Location Class I ?

should it be the hot shrinkable or cold shrinkable? and what the recommended trade mark used in this apps.

Of course it's better to be cold shrinkable joint, like 3M.

For hazardous areas it is better to have cold cable joints. However if hot work permit can be issued then hot shrinkable can be used.

The reputed vendors are - 3M, Raychem, Taihan- korea, LS- korea, Pfisterer etc.
