How can we import data from excel and export data to excel from Tally?

very easly you can export data from tally first you copy all data by using control+A and paste in Excel ofter pest data in excel use (data option) in excel and after use (text colum) opertion by this option you can make column where you need by this help you can prepare a particular Accounts report for present.

whatever you want to export in excel just press ALT+E

Tally 9 allow you to export data directly in excel format.

* Open Tally

* open the data you want to export

*Press export button or use short cut key Alt+E

if want to export balancesheet to excel from tally 

1. open tally

2.open balance sheet & then press Alt+E

3.format:- excel spreadsheeet

accept

then it will be exported in excel

 Follow these steps for import data Excel to Tally

  • Download Excel template from - www.xltally.in
  • Enable ODBC port in Tally application.
  • Open one Tally application
  • Open only one company.
  • In XLTOOL software ​fillup the data in Voucher / Master template.
  • Open MY MENU by F1 Key.
  • click START button.
  • Data will be imported in Tally.
  • If any errors occurred see the details on REPORT template.
  • Read software in-built HELP template for more details.

First you open a file name in Excel, give it a name Like FILE NAME (lOUIS) then the next step is to highlight the iformation you want transfer or Copy the information and then pest it in the file Name which is already created in Excel as (LOUIS)

Your question is bit confusing, but i hope you want to export Excel Sheet data to Tally.
