There are hundreds of custom Android ROMs made by companies all over the world while iOS is built to sustain on a single version to ease the learning curve of a possible returning customer or a long time user. Android is more of an open source OS with developers being able to change whatever they like to target any kind of person. Android is very customizable and iOS development is limited to sustain their ease of use and comfortability. They both have their benefits.
Android, android provides better visual and most especially user-friendly interface where you can easily locate the settings and how to use the mobile phone.
