Secondly the perception that every man in uniform is great at corporate security and nothing else and further the more senior he was in uniform the better he will be in corporate security

it´s nice to read your answer. I believe that the expencives are the one of the most important isuue in the security field. But what is also true that many people in this branch are paid very well and their performance or result of theirs duty is not so good. From mine piont of view the most important in this field is the staff. If you hired or inheritd them only the good focused and motivated people can subsidize the ideas of the owner and their managers.I know that you as head of the security is responsible for your emploeyr and must correct many time the point of you but the good trained staff can get your expenses down.
