FHRP commonly refers to several approaches to providing router redundancy including hot standby routing protocol HSRP, virtual router redundancy protocol VRRP, gateway load balancing protocol GLBP. in all these approaches first router hop is given high availability

HSRP:0000:0C07:0CXX

VRRP:0000:5C00:01XX

GLBP:0007:B4XX:XXYY
