There is a lot of resources online to improve your knowledge in interior design , there are a lot of articles and courses , i also believe in hands on training like an apprenticeship or design studios a lot of those don't cost a lot or visiting showrooms , reading design magazines , visiting malls and public buildings can give you design ideas even looking at nature around can induce thoughts of a good design ,finally good luck to you in your design knowledge quest .
