Some OEM parts are made by outsource suppliers and these can be of equivilent quality. For non-genuine and non OEM parts these can be a source of quality issues in materials and general quality of manufacture.

They can and cannot be.

If you buy genuine OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts, they'll be as good as the original becuase the same company is making the original and the spare. But if you go with aftermarket parts they'll probably not be as good as the original.

I hope this answers your question.

Spare parts are not as efficient as the genuine ones because genuine ones are standardized parts as they are manufactured under high quality restrictions, also they are much reliable and safe as compared to spare parts. Also they are time saving and smooth in operations.

If you get them from the same company that also makes OEM products, then its the same. In other ceses you can either go with cheaper products or even better than OEM/ upgraded stuff.

The spare parts divided into Genuine parts , OEM parts , Aftermarket parts , Remanufactured parts, Reconditioned parts and Used parts.

Three points are important to get the efficient parts.

First the Quality, second cost and third warranty.

The OEM: same as Genuine parts but different package , and less cost and you could use them without invalidate the warranty.

And about the aftermarket part, they have a wide range of quality. some companies have a firms and standards that make the parts perform better than OE parts, it is usually cheaper than OE and OEM parts but it the problem is by using the aftermarket parts could invalidate the warranty.

Remanufactured: less quality than OE and OEM , cheaper  and if it is recommanded by the original company then it will not affect the warranty.

Reconditioned: less quality than the remanufactured one, cheaper and invalidate the warranty.

Used: less quality than the others, cheaper and invalidate the warranty.

Genuine parts benefits

- maintains vehicle warranty and resale value of vehicle

- assured quality and performance, including less chance of part failure leading to accidents

'Spare' parts benefits

- affordable (cheaper than genuine parts, but sometimes not as cost efficient)

- functional equivalent (most of the time)

So the answer to the question of 'efficiency' depends on what the consumer wants, can afford, and is willing to forgo.

Original Spare Parts Guarantee to Customer Safety and the Vehicle / Machine warranty will not be void . Using original spare parts gives the customer a strong argument towards the agency or dealer if any defect occur. Originality is at the end of the day realibility.

No, spare parts are just a part-time entity which can be used against the genuine. Genuine parts are reliable, company guaranteed and maintains quality.

Their maybe cost variation but safety and performance should never be compromised.

Yes. Spare Parts are as efficent as genunie ones. Particularly in africa, it is always to be genuine one.

Some OEM parts are made by outsources suppliers and these can be equivalant quality. I prefer Genuine Parts to be here in africa.

Spare parts will be as efficient as the genuine ones in case it was manufactured by the main supplier ( the main source ). But it will never have the same efficiency if it is an out source spare part which was manufactured by another suppliers.
