What motivates photographers to continue taking pictures economically, politically, intellectually or emotionally?

I believe behind every photographer you will find a different story and a different motivation, and the differences will amaze you.

imagine three photographers approaching the same location-of-interest, which is (for example) a conflict zone in a war-torn city, bullets are spraying in air and explosions can be heard every few seconds, the three of them is making almost the same shots for the same alley, but each one of them is doing it for a completely different reason, the 1st one is doing it for the money (extra bucks for dangerous locations, or hopes of promotion, etc) the other guy is doing it for glory (exclusive photos, winning an award, bravery, fame), but the last of them had something very different in mind, he's doing it because he believes the world must see the truth.

if you are considering photography as a career, I believe you must search inside you for what might keep you going, as it is a very neat field which needs lots of patience.

when you got the passion you can capture whatever you want and you can get motivate by anything of cource emotionally is the highest motivation but still photogtaphing for money for living is a motivation :)
