hello firstly i want to tell you that mac is a operating system and pc is a device on which a operating system is install , that's means the question is that you prefer mac os or other os like windows , so here are many things which distinguish mac from windows the operation of windows is easy for new users easily accessible and used by majority of peoples and mac operating system is not used by majority of peoples it is used by professional , software engineers etc. and if the question is that what you prefer a laptop or a desktop than surely you will go with a lapotop.
i used PC more than MAC but i prefer MAC on PC for the below reason :
MAC is more save than PC because the original application of MAC is 30 Dollar but PC Windows will cost 200 Dollar which it will make demand for duplicate application
MAC is Faster than P.C
MAC design application is more better the PC design application
pc all the way for gamers and programmers. mac is good for editing videos and stuff but you will have to shell out a lot of money for those high end macs. pc is modifiable to your budget's extent and software's are abundant. on the other hand if you are only buying a mac thinking it has good security ( free antivirus protection programs in bunches to choose from available on pc
I prefer PC because it is more user friendly and the sharing of data between PC to PC is quite easier compared to mac and PC and also PC is generally affordable compared to mac

be personally i would choose the NON MAC OS due to the freedom it can provide for me to anything i desire but that of course come with the price of the lower security and lower stability.
on the other hand when i provide technical support for users my dream would be having them with only MAC computers because the MAC built to protect the users from himself by making mistakes via very sophisticated security systems built in the IOS and of course that quality will cost you on the other hand some a bit of your freedom as user.
another thing which give an edge for MAC over PC is the hardware engineering, it's really hard to come by PC customized or retail which has robust and perfectly integrated components which can perform together as what you can witness with MACs.
i think PC is better than MAC. because PC is more easier and convenient to use all you need is just a wifi than you're ready to go...while MAC aside form needing wifi of course you still need to consider so many things...like its connection to other social mediums....because i believe that MAC is only convenient with some selected mediums so you cannot still reach out to all common users.
