Do you believe you can effectivly run an office with hardwork,a smile an a sense of humour and produce better results ,than a boring suit n tie person?

Same goes for meetings and staff functions.Does official have to equal boring .I don't believe in mixing personal life with official, but I believe in laughing and having more interesting and real conversations then just the weather n work.I also believe that because of this I have a better relationship with staff and clients.Professional to me doesn't mean boring.Come on suit n tie men , tell my how inappropriate my questions and comments are.

actually i am this kind of guys too Aisha i like to have every kind of conversations with every one,, i like to laough with almost every one and to be friendly wth them, and yes sure one can effectivly run office with smile & sense of humour & still get better results , coz weather u r a boring suit n tie person or friendly it has nothing to do with ur good or bad results , ur good or bad results doesnt depends on ur personality or the way u r wth people or staff , 

so yes i agree wth U that professional doesnt mean boring suit n tie person at all.

maybe for most of people they got use to see professionals wears tie n suit in the movies , so it became a standard or something .

Definitely, because a smile travel miles and it makes the working environment pleasant and peaceful.  We have to remember that we are spending the best and the maximum part of the day in the office.  Therefore, if it is pleasant, we will not know the time is ticking by and we will be able to concentrate on our work better and complete it faster.

A boring suit and tie person may increase fear, insecurities and unpleasant working environment, which increases stress.  This will not create a positive environment, which is why people are eager to leave work as early as possible.  Abseetism also exists in such environment.
