A FILTER THEY COME INTO DIFFERENT SHAPES AND PRICES I RECOMMEND CHEAPST ONE 25 MICRON FILTER WITH CARBON...SO NICE FOR ALL DRINKING PURPOSES AS LONG AS WATER TAP IS TRUSTED IF NOT ...RO HOME UNITS WITHOUT TANK IS BEST IF U NEED A TANK ...ONES COMES WITH ULTAVIOLET IS OK ,,MORE EXPENSIVE IN RUNNING COST AS U NEED TO CHANGE 3 FILTERS EVERY 3 MONTHS PLUS RO MEMBRAN EVERY ONE- 2 YEARS ,,NEEDS MAINTENANACE MAN FOR RO CLEANING UNLESS U R CLEVER :) ULTAVIOLET IS TO KILL ANY BACTERIAL OR VIRUS WHICH MAY GROW IN TREATED WATER TANK ,,BEFORE US ,, GOOD LUCK ALL
