Does anyone know what happens when you ask a question in an area that IS NOT listed in your BAYT specialties ? Do you get points etc ? Thoughts ?

If you answer a question in say "Widget control" and it isn't one of the specialists you have chosen in your own profile

- is  it worth answering at all ? - or dont bother unless I feel I want to answer it knowing it isn't going to assist me with my rank / Badges etc... Any ideas ? Anyone ?
