Ususally, I prefer to reframe it and call it feedback and ask the "provider" to elaborate encouraging him to continue with giving me feedback in a certain constructive way. I experienced a lot of unappropriate feedback mainly directed toward personal features more than the process and what worked for me was to ask that person to make a list with all the critiques he has and analyze with he/ she the impact of this over the negotiation process. Many times, I found criticism to be a strategy employed by negotiating partners in an attempt to leverage and take over you.

First of all their will be criticism & other tactics to create an situation from the end user specially during negotiations, this is used to get the most advantage out of it.

We have to handle in a positive way explain the good that has been done in the critical times of the enduser, speak about the advantages, features & benefits he will get if he has a agreement with us.

Some time criticism is also useful for a company to understand the lacking & to correct the same, it gives us an enduser view who will highlight the good & the bad which will be very useful feedback.

I think the person who criticize me isn't representing quality business. But if I am put in such situation I'd see if I need the person's business and it can not be found somewhere else, then in this case I'd deal with the person and accommodate the deal.

Thanks for invitation

It depends on the other Part sending Criticism

Using the body language, I send a fake smile and continue in my way

or ignoring it at all with directing the conversation with another member

or using the low chair technique

I totally agreed with Mr. Sorin's answer to reframe it and call it Feedback rather than criticism!
