Are the business development activities different in different markets ( with similar types of clients / customers)?

i believe every market has its own challenges and opportunities,and business development is a process of improvement and adding value within the organization to impact the outcome in a positive way.

i would believe business development as a process  would differ in implementation from company to company and market to market due to the special needs within the organization and its concerened and affected department.

in one company we might need to improve procurement,hr and in some sales and marketing.

i  belive as a business development manager your attitude and style would differ also depending on your background.

but the general concept and duties are really the same.

In the market and business development activities a marketing professional not only present his product but also present his customers to his company. A good and dynamic marketing professional should be channel between his company and customers through which he communicate with each other and deliver accurate and precise to customer and his company in any means.

So a marketing professional should be dynamic and versatile in his every approach for business development

And there are no similar customers or clients because even if they belong to same sector or industry you have to handle customer as an individual and if you did not care your baby well as per his nature and needs he will find another nanny for himself

And third most important factor which is very important is habitat and environment you can’t sell Easter eggs on Christmas or sweaters in summer

So you have to arrange weapons as per target prey and his habitat

And most successful example is selling of galaxy phone and I phone both are smart phones and most of their features are same but you can’t turn I phone user to buy galaxy and galaxy user to buy I phone
