Go to gateway of tally 

press F11 and select statutory & taxation from company features

set "Enable Value Added Tax (VAT) to "Yes"

finally press yes to accept the settings.

Enable Vat to yes in Statutory and Taxation feaures( F11 feature> F3)

PRESS F11 KEY TO ACTIVATE VAT  FROM STATUTORY FEATURE PRESS YES FOR VAT & PROCEED
