As a operation manager in landscaping field, could you work as a site engineer to covering shortage of engineers in your company ?

this is a wide question, site Engineer in which field? if in construction for sure i will not accept it. in general and my personal view that I only accept employee to do Jobs that they qualified and have the talent< otherwise we are jeopardizing the company activities.
