IT Governance is about  planning the framework for IT systems to ensure a very effective, efficient and reliable structure in compliance with the organizational policies.

IT management is about the day to day operation by implemeting the policies set by the governance team to ensure smooth and efficinet running of the IT systems in accordance to the organizational policies.
