Autocad, I think is a tool that has been created for draugntsmen / designers that have rarely had the magic hand(s) to express the ingenious talents of a typical and classical draughtsman. I have always worked with engineers that applied their crayons, whether black or coloured, felt or ink. These people talk to you, and so do their imageries, following your wishes. They do not bug and run out of batteries. And their A1 sizes oubeats any known screen. They can be just as fast, and can make more than one medium-sized (400 sq.m) building and modify their work faster than you think. Of course, you have to pay them more than your computer, laptop or other. On the other you might even lose your computer, or have it stolen. Then you have the upgrades, et al. So no, nobody beats a good engineer on his board. Like nobody beat Leonard Da Vinci, yet. That's why these engineers still exist!

speed and editing capability , in the past if you made a mistake while drawing blue prints you had to tear up the sheet you are working on and start all over again while in auto cad all you have to do is edit your mistake and your done , this in turn means speed .
