My parents raised me to be terrified to ask for anything I needed, like shoes, doctor visits, or food, even though they made good money. I would like to raise my kids so that they do not have to worry about adult things like health-care and money until they are at least. They also raised me to be very quiet, and not to talk unless they speak to me, or make noise while I walk or play. At, I still can't carry a conversation, and people accuse me of being cold. I also walk around the house on my tip-toes, out of habit, and my fiance finds it really bizzare. I plan on allowing my kids to make lots of noise right up until bedtime. My parents also taught me that whites shouldn't marry blacks, because their kids will look weired. I was shocked at ten when I saw a mixed baby and found it to be just as cute as any other baby, not bizarre looking like my parents had told me. They also taught me that gays will go to hell. After I grew up, I learned equality. I plan on teaching my kids to evaluate both sides of the coin, and to think objectively on all social issues and accept all people, families, and couples, regardless of their races or sexual orientation. If you treat a child like an intelligent little person, they will grow to think objectively about social issues and grow to accept others. I'm glad that my parents never fed me that Santa Clause, Easter Bunny cra p, and I plan on providing my kids the same honesty.

Absolutely. First of all I am lucky that in my region, we still hold high up our moral values & principles despite exposure & influence from western culture, I DON'T mean to say that western culture is completely bad BUT part of it is actually very bad for our sakes. I've been brought up well in a Christian-religious setting which has molded me into someone responsible & God-fearing. Therefore I always vowed God-willing to treat my children in the same way & guide them through the same setting. Thanks for the invitation

Probably yes. Because the way I am today is because of my parents and I believe I am a good person because of them. I am not perfect and I know no one is but still my parents tried their best to raise us as good people. There are also some things we learn along the way that our parents cannot teach us. Some obstacles or challenges that we should face alone or without our parents. But the way my parents taught me about handling these kind of situation will be the help I need from them.

It would be no. Not because our parents raised us in  a wrong way.

With development and technology invasion all over the world, there should be new methods of raising up children to adapt with the modifications that is currently occurring.

Of course , given the condition if they agree to it.
