Why Salespeople lose motivation?

Sales people can lose their motivation for a variety of reasons however the primary reason being an inability to meet their targets.

Other causes could be low commission or poor commission structure, lack of support either in the form of promotional media or motivation from management.

Sales people are constantly on the move and in the market so when the general consensus in the market is negative then it could heavily impact the motivation level of the sales person.

there are some reasons that a sales person lose there motivation on the jobs , 

1.when targets are not achieve 2.commissions  cut off 3. non availability of stock 4. Un healthy relation with sub ordinates.

In my point of view, Salesperson are backbone of each company and they should be treated better than our employees. Reason behind for a salesperson to lose their motivation are   

1. Lack of support from senior management in aspects of price & terms with customers

2. Not receiving payment on time from customers    

3. working hard but still orders are not in flow 

4. lack of support from sales coordination team + Logistics team + Production Team

5. Receiving order but stock not available to sale

Sales Person loses motivation when he/she has no plan. As it is said "When you Fail to Plan, you Plan to Fail". When there is no plan, then target is not achieved and the rest follows. 

Second reason is when there is no reward or recognition for his results. Person feels he is getting results and he is not benefited.
