Whats the percentage ratio between listening and speaking?

Especially when generating lead, solving client's problems, closing deals or even regular conversation between your superiors and your subordinates.

As a standard practice, we should listen more, think and analyse internally, prepare proposal with logic and then speak. So, listening to be around seventy percent and speaking 30 percent

Its different ratio every situation that I face as an HR, overall I can say 60% listening and 40% speaking but my 40% speaking is more impactful than the 60%.

Further to adding Mr. Fazlur, we speak more than listen, hence it may be 3 times more than listen. When listen, starts thinking, plan response then convert in to reaction.
