Photography speaks a universal language that does not need translation, and with an immediacy that the written word lacks. It freezes a moment in time, leaving an indelible image.

Photography indeed speaks different languages (or universal language). The beauty of it is that it is open to interpretation. Humans perceive reality (or our assumptions of reality) differently leading to different perspectives on what constitute a solid knowledge (or one interpretation) of a picture. In fact,  it shouldn't be translated and limited, instead, keep it open for interpretations. On the other hand,  Combined with marketing communication, it is a different story! Marketers rely heavily on photography to creatively communicate a message. In this scenario, I do belive that translation is needed due to cultural difrancases and to avoid negative associations with the brand.

yes a warm smile is the universal language of kindness.

Photography speaks an international language that could be understood by everyone. However, in the business world the interpretation of the photography could send different message depending on the the external or internal environment of the organisations. But it should be recognised that they are some pictures that have a universal acceptable interpretation.

Depend upon photographer. I am fully agree that a best photographer click have a universal language
