When filter is applied on Data, most of the time serial numbers disordered. How to create a dynamic serial number in one column that will provide proper serial number even if filter is applied on data in any order.
for example Serial No. is in Column A and Items are in Column B. Row 1 is header. In A2 write is formula =SUBTOTAL(103,$B$2:B2). Copy down until last row, apply filter on column B. Problem solved.
