Do we 'Live to Work' or do we 'Work to Live?'

It’s natural to look back and mythologize the long nights and manic moments of genius, but success isn’t about working hard, it’s about working smart. When you don’t sleep, eat crap, don’t exercise, and are living off adrenaline for too long, your performance suffers. Your decisions suffer. Your company suffers. Love those close to you!

Imagine life as a game in which you are juggling some five balls in the air. You name them — work, family, health, friends and spirit and you’re keeping all of these in the air. You will soon understand that work is a rubber ball. If you drop it, it will bounce back. But the other four balls — family, health, friends, and spirit — are made of glass. If you drop one of these, they will be irrevocably scuffed, marked, nicked, damaged, or even shattered. They will never be the same. You must understand that and strive for balance in your life.

To conclude - “You will never feel truly satisfied by work until you are satisfied by life.”

We have been told since long ago during college study that work is instrumental to survival. I still believe in that - putting into consideration the purpose of the creation of mankind. I can not imagine that someone Lives just to Work!

Creation of any human being is the cause of forming up the world / community. Everyone is playing his/her role in this life for the best achievement in any way. Without working well it is impossible !!!!

Both are important and in fact, cannot be separated.

We should work to live but unfortunately recent market situation around the globe has made it difficult for us to  work to live. So we are living to work now.

.... Both..... We work to live and we live to work too

The main target of human existence is to work, the daily needs for his organs, his life cycle, nature, earth movement, succession of seasons,...etc...., these all natural systems, require us to interact positively, this positive productive interaction we call it work.

,We live to work too, when it comes to your personal needs, like Maslow's theory, each person wants to achieve a certain level of life, to determine that level; many factors decide which level each human being needs or fits in... such as education, self awareness, motives, society, type of   culture around.. and many other engines that impulse the need to work and achieve 

Thank you very much.Yes, A healthy life is a gift of all mighty Allah to compell mandatory obligations.To achieve this obligation work is very important & a mazor tool of satisfactory life.

Ohhh I'm really know that no way to live our life only for Working, it's Impossible how can that, Just we have more entertainment way in our live to work  not wok to live. 

we work for a living, for me it's goal in life.
