What is information system? Distinguish between a computer, a computer program, and an information system.

Information: Its a way where you get data for your decision making to establish controls or may go forward for process, financial controls, material management, and business development.

Computer is the tool or machine that may use for data collection and summarize with the help of installed information system or software.

Any system through which we can share information inter and intra organization is called information system. for example official quotation, stock ledger, purchase requisition , purchase order, work procedure.

A computer is a devise which store, processed and share information in a proper sequence to the users concerned.it is composed on both Hardware and Software.

A computer program is a software for any specific purpose of storage and processing of relevant information. for example inventory control software, or even Microsoft office  etc

The information system as discussed on the top is just system of sharing,editing and communication of information. It may be computer based or not depend of the facility.    

Information Systems are the road we walk in to reach our goal,a Computer is the drawer we hold our capacity of information in and a computer program is a shortcut towards our goal whilst Information system is the shoes we put on to start the trip whilst we could use car or an air plane or else a ship or even a rocket.

Information system is the replacement the daily work activity in the organization to automation .

The Computer is a hardware  device we use it to facilitate work 

A computer program is a software for any purpose of storage and processing of relevant information such as SAP , Microsoft , Oracle

computer:-It's a hardware device which is used to run the computer software and sometimes use to run information system.

computer programs:-They help in just storeing and processing the information they don'produce the sentimenet or required information

Information system:-They not only stores and process but also produces all sorts of required information which helps in decsiion making to attain higher profatiblity
