Nokia D1C Android Smartphone may revive the brand. How do you view this statement? Can Nokia regain even 10% of market share, what it had in 2005?

Considering the facts.

Highly competitive market.

Highly price sensitive scenario.

Too many local as well as Chinese players.

Continuously changing technology.

Yes it is possible. It is much easier for a company that was "once reputable, high profile & market leader to regain its momentum & market share than a newly formed company to gain market share because Nokia was once tested & proven by consumers thus a newly formed company would have to go through the same cycle. This target can be achieved if (1) it revists its existance & purpose (vision, mission & core values) & it sets strategic Goals & Objectives to the above target while put into consideration the existance & posdibility of environmental constraint & devising means ti minimise them, (2) Carryingout effective & efficient market research to gain more detailed understanding of the current & future trends/dynamics of the Global village, (3) Re-inventing & innovating its product to match, favorably compete & oust its competitors, (4) To develop & implement strategic marketing & sales plan to enable it regain its competitive advantage.
