ASO STAND for aggrigate storage option whille BSO stand for block storage option

in ASO we can create only one database while in BSO we can craete more the one database 

in ASO we have 4 storage option while BSO six storage option are there in the missing store options are dynamic calc &dynamic calc ans store

in ASO we have 6 consolidation properties while in BSO 7 consolidation properties and the missing property in aso is never(^)property

in aso we use MDX script while in BSO we use calculation script

IN aso we dont have the concept of dense and sparse while in bso we have a concept of dense ans sparse

in ASO when we load the data manually in excell add in we use the option sent only while is bSO we use the option called lock& sent

the logo is ASO cube is red star mark inside the square box while in BSO whole squrare is fill by red color

in ASO we dont have the concept of dinmic time series while in BSO we have concept of dynamic time series

for multidimensional databases.

How the data are internally stored is determined by this two options.

BSO cubes typically contain smaller dimensions than aggregate storage (ASO) cubes and can perform numerous and complex calculations on the smaller Outline. ASO cubes are designed to provide rapid aggregation capabilities for much larger Essbase outlines, typically supporting many more dimensions.

The aggregate storage kernel is an alternative to the block storage kernel. Aggregate storage databases typically address read-only, “rack and stack” applications that have large dimensionality.
