Best dental clinic in alwarpet

Floss daily between each tooth, sliding up and down and back and forth gently to avoid bleeding. Brush your teeth and gum line for TWO full minutes, two times each day. Use a soft bristle brush using gentle strokes and make sure you reach all of your teeth.

Gum disease of periodontitis is considered as the 6th complication of diabetes mellitus.Numerous studies have demonstrated the two way relationship between diabetes and periodontal disease.

Control of glucose levels is a must for the control of periodontal disease because the systemic factors bear a great role on the outcome of any local treatment performed.

Local treatment in lack of control of systemic factors shows a poor outcome. Depending on the extent of periodontal disease, additional treatment modalities like subantimicrobial dose Doxycycline, local durg delivery and topical/systemic antibiotics may be considered.

Studies indicate that treatment of periodontal conditions actually reduce the systemic inflammatory burden and improve the outcome of the glycemic control of the patient.
